I managed to negotiate the subway, including a transfer, during rush hour to get to the airport. I even perfected the pathetic foreigner look to get moved to an earlier flight without any fees. So off to two days of meetings in the south.

There was no time for sightseeing other than five minutes on the little island in front of the hotel while waiting to go to dinner. Fukuoka is on a different island in the southwest on the Sea of Japan. It has a canal going through it and a few interesting places based on my pre-trip research.

We had another team dinner with the some of the staff from the local office. I have no idea what I ate except for one identifiable little fellow.
